Bald eagle Leo Falk flies to his nest

Due to the stupid reason (repairs in my apartment) I have to return home urgently. Hope to be there around Tuesday Dec. 10.

So I am not going to tell you the tales of Florida weather anymore.

See you soon, Leo

Still in Florida

Still enjoying warm Florida weather. Now I am in Florida City hostel -- and will spend here 3-4 days more, exploring Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. After that another week or so for the Keys, especially Key West. So in Sarasota will be around Dec.7. After Dec.15 perhaps will leave Florida for a two weeks drive home.

Happy Thanksgiving to everybody!

Oh, sunny Florida

After spending two days at Walt Disney World and some trouble with the car (which was successfully fixed) I arrived to Fort Lauderdale-Miami area. Enjoying really summer weather. However tomorrow they predict the drop in temperature and rain.

But it won't stop me.

After several days here I plan to proceed further South to Key West and on the way back to pass the West coast of the penninsula.

Meanwhile I send hot kisses from the bright Florida sun to everybody.

First week

For three full days I drived along the crest of the Appalachians on Skyline Drive/Blue Ridge Parkway form Front Royal, Virginia to Asheville, North Carolina. In spite of some cloudy days the colors are absolutely magnificent. This portion of the trip should take at least 5 days, so I had to omit some stops.

Tomorrow is Monday, Nov. 4, 2002. I intend to go directly South through Georgia to Florida. It will take 2-3 days.

Best regards to everybody, Leo
